My intention is not to give you my ideal birth, but to enhance your birth experience, in any and all ways that I know how.  I support women and families in achieving the birth experience of their choice.

My name is Jackie Belau, I am a DONA trained doula.  My belief is that informed parents are able to make the best decisions for themselves and their child.  Knowing all of the options and possibilities gives parents the peace of mind to be confident in the choices they have made for their labor and birth experience.  I strive to teach all of the families I work with all of their options regarding this special time in their lives.  Once you have decided what your ideal birth looks like, I will support your decisions and together, we can work to make that vision come to life.

As a sign language interpreter I provide services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing families as well.  Giving all families the opportunity to learn about pregnancy and labor techniques in their own language.
